For centuries the thought of UFOs and aliens roaming earth has been the center of controversy, and the main theme of conspiracy theorists. From “Area 51” to the most recent “Naval files” released - you and I can’t get enough of strange occurrences. But, right in the midst of our nation, there is another bizarre phenomenon occurring where a set of new ideologies are baffling the human mind.

It would seem that the desensitization of our core moral principles is under attack, and in some cases under siege. There are a place and time when we have to ask ourselves “when is enough, enough?” The Bible is clear that there will be a set time in human history when we will experience a strange love, but not the love of God.

Aren’t you aware that the moral principles of nations have been rooted in the fundamental truths found on the signature of two tablets? When we deem these rules obsolete or void we have abandoned the shorelines of ethical conduct.

Remember, what you don’t permit on earth, will not be permitted in heaven. A Strange love.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God - 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

As a man of faith, I learned early in my years to pray the “Lord’s Prayer.” In one of the verses, when the disciples were learning how to petition heaven they prayed “Lord, let thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.” This verse, for the faithful, would seem to welcome an invasive power from on high to fill the earth. Is it possible for God to intervene and invade our lives, and what would that look like?

Everyone wishes to imagine what awaits in heaven. That peaceful place where every faithful citizen may delight in an infinite retirement. A place where no sickness, disease, or tears are shed. The Bible actually gives us a small account of that when it states; “The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.” Well if it wasn’t for “looney tones” it couldn’t get any more innocent than that.

Why wait for the end of your life to receive these promises? God desires to collaborate in ushering in righteousness, peace, and joy into your circumstances. Don’t procrastinate any longer, and invite heaven to earth. Simply believe, and pray; “Lord I need your help, and I invite you to invade my life today. Take over my circumstances, and allow me to experience your peace. In your precious name, I pray, Amen.”

Romans 14:17-19

17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval. 19 Let us, therefore, make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

We all have been given equal opportunities to dream, to believe, and to labor at what our hearts cling to. To put into motion those things that are not, as though they were. Some of the greatest stories ever told have been lived by individuals who overcame all odds. A group of wandering nomads who weren’t handed anything, but simply had the determination to take baby steps into accomplishing their goals.

It isn’t always wealth and fame that makes these people so special. But, their moral character, their commitment, and their loyalty to fulfilling their purpose in life. Some of them were dads, other moms, and yet other postal workers. It didn’t matter their titles, but it did matter their efforts. Some of their names may have never reached the height of the executive latter. But, their legacies will live on in the hearts of those they served.

Success is not always what our society makes it out to be. You and I are considered a total success, in God’s eyes, if we leave this place better than what we found it. Everyone has an equal opportunity to do that.

Equal Opportunity!

1 Corinthians 1:27-29

27 But, God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things - and the things that are not - to nullify the things that are, 29so that no one may boast before him.
