What happens when there is no more shame, in sinning? Where there is no difference between morality and immorality, no right from wrong, no condemnation, no God, no law, no judge, no heaven, no hell, no vigilance, no decency, no innocence, no good, no bad. How does a society like this survive?

Lord, all knowledge, understanding, and wisdom comes from you. Set my feet upon a path that will give you glory in all that you have set my heart to do. Let not my hands labor in vain, but give my work success so that your name may be glorified. Show me your ways, for I know not your hidden secrets. But, reveal them to me so that I may be a good steward of all that you have given me. For what good is it for a man to gain the world and loss his soul? Or a man to be given gifts and talents to only dispose of them?

In everything, and in all times let my life display your masterpiece and your handiwork. Help me be a good steward of your rewards.

1 Peter 4:7-11

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. 8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
