The most powerful tools of the enemy of your soul are lies, deception, and manipulation. These are the languages and instruments Satan will use in your life to cause you to fight the wrong battle and sabotage your progress in Christ.

He will camouflage himself as a ghostly figure leaving behind heartache, brokenness, and destruction. He will convince you with thoughts of failure and fill your lives up with distractions. He knows the only way to curse you, is to make you believe you are cursed.

He wipes his hands clean as he exits the door of your life and then blames you for the circumstances surrounding it. Can you identify with his trickery?

The enemy exposed!

Matthew 16:22-23

23Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.

There is pure and beautiful jealousy found in relationships between a husband and a wife, a father and a son, and God with his creation. It is not a vile nor brut emotion, but one that is found in earnest desire of companionship and excitement. It chases after the heart and attention of that which is lost, so that he or she may find safe haven in his communion and peace. As a father and friend, God is jealous for us.

Amazing love is his jealousy!

Exodus 34:14

14 Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

Lord God Almighty, you called from a mountain, and many heard your voice and trembled. You spoke to men, and they declared your utterance as prophets who discerned your desires. You came to us and sat among many as a Savior, a friend who revealed the mystery of heaven.

You ate with twelve, who had a glimpse of your humble splendor. May we be invited to sit as friends in your counsel, and hear your voice. For there is nothing more comforting and sweet then to hear your voice, Lord.

We are deaf until we hear your voice.

Jeremiah 29:12-14

12Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.
