The language of silence can at times be misunderstood. For many have fallen prey to unwarranted conversations because they believe that they need to respond to every allegation. Sometimes you need to realize that if you dialogue with the enemy, you will heed his attention, and give ear to his swaying.
For from the beginning of time one of man’s greatest errors was to entertain conversations with the serpent. He will twist your thoughts, your convictions, the truth, then condemn you in order to attain its agenda. Even Christ himself who hungered, and journeyed into the wilderness was finally found tempted into a fierce conversation with the enemy in His weakness.
Give yourself permission to act on your God-given convictions, and do not speak if God has asked you to be quiet. The Bible teaches that there is a time to speak and a time to be silent. For no one knows that your microphone, and platform at times is your altar of prayer!
Silence sometimes speaks louder than words.
Matthew 27:12-14
12When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” 14But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge - to the great amazement of the governor.
