The language of silence can at times be misunderstood. For many have fallen prey to unwarranted conversations because they believe that they need to respond to every allegation. Sometimes you need to realize that if you dialogue with the enemy, you will heed his attention, and give ear to his swaying.

For from the beginning of time one of man’s greatest errors was to entertain conversations with the serpent. He will twist your thoughts, your convictions, the truth, then condemn you in order to attain its agenda. Even Christ himself who hungered, and journeyed into the wilderness was finally found tempted into a fierce conversation with the enemy in His weakness.

Give yourself permission to act on your God-given convictions, and do not speak if God has asked you to be quiet. The Bible teaches that there is a time to speak and a time to be silent. For no one knows that your microphone, and platform at times is your altar of prayer!

Silence sometimes speaks louder than words.

Matthew 27:12-14

12When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” 14But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge - to the great amazement of the governor.

There are many things in life that can make us weary to the point of forfeiting our race. In the field of sports when an athlete has depleted all of their strength and has reached a place of exhaustion they are at times taken out of the game, others are fed electrolytes, and yet others find their “second wind” to push towards the finish line.

Just like the determined weightlifters under the bar, when the weights of life are pressing down on your chest, and it would seem like there is no more bounce in your arms. It’s when your spotter yells out “come on, give me one more” and suddenly you stretch deep within yourself and plunge those weights forward.

In times like this you, and I need to find our “second wind” in God. For as a good spotter will never abandon his/her partner so God will not abandon you. He will give you the strength to reach deep down within your spirit man to finish your purpose.

Receive today your necessary strength, it’s your “second wind”.

Let’s soar higher!

Isaiah 40:28-31

28Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

29He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

No matter what your eyes have seen, or what your ears have heard at the battlefield of your workplace, or perhaps at the edge of your screens it is important to filter everything you and I may experience emotionally, spiritually, and mentally through the air filter of truth.

I have been guilty many times of reading emails when my heart has been heavy or perhaps answering to my superiors after listening to some fake news. How about having a conversation with your loved one when you have just checked out from a long day/week at work. If you ever found yourself in any of the situations mentioned I could assure you the turnout did not work out in your favor.

Whatever it is that is rocking the boat of your heart or perhaps filling the web of your mind causing spiritual glaucoma must be surgically removed so that you and I can have the correct perspective on things. Relationships heal or fail, promotions are invoked or revoked, and life journeys end or begin depending on our filtered perspectives.

Clean your filter. The Truth of God will always set you, and I free from the right perspective.

1 Corinthians 2:9-11

9 However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him - 10these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

11For who knows a person’s thoughts except for their own spirit within them? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
